QRT Life Savers

When Life Happens, We're Here to Help.

Not every family needs traditional full-time childcare.

Sometimes you have an appointment.

A meeting.

An unexpected change in your schedule.

Errands that would be easier to complete alone.

Or maybe you simply need a few hours to get things done.

QRT Life Savers provides flexible, short-term childcare for families who need a safe, nurturing place for their child without committing to a traditional full-day childcare schedule.

How Life Savers Works

Care is available in 2-hour increments, up to 4 hours per day, based on space and staffing availability.

Life Savers care must be scheduled and prepaid in advance.

Children participating in Life Savers must have all required registration, emergency, health, and authorization information on file before care can be provided.

Tutoring & Academic Support

Building Skills. Building Confidence.

Sometimes a child doesn't need someone to simply give them the answer.

They need someone who can help them understand how to get there.

Queen’s Royal Treasures offers tutoring and academic support designed to help students strengthen skills, build confidence, develop effective learning habits, and experience academic success.

Academic support may be provided by certified educators, experienced teachers, and qualified high school or college tutors based on the student's needs and availability.

Academic Support May Include:

• Reading and literacy
• Writing
• Mathematics
• Homework assistance
• Study skills
• Test preparation
• Organization and time-management skills
• Skill reinforcement
• Enrichment and academic challenges

Services may be offered individually or in small groups depending on student needs and program availability.

Every child can learn. Sometimes they simply need a different way to be taught.

School-Age Transportation

Helping Families Keep Their Days Moving

Queen’s Royal Treasures may provide transportation for eligible school-age children participating in QRT programs.

Transportation may include transportation between QRT and participating schools based on enrollment, school location, established routes, scheduling, vehicle capacity, and program availability.

Transportation May Include:

• Morning transportation to eligible schools
• Afternoon pickup from eligible schools
• Transportation associated with approved QRT programming

Transportation is available for school-age children only and requires appropriate authorization and enrollment documentation.

Because routes and availability may change, families should confirm transportation eligibility with QRT before enrollment.

Saturday Care

Because Families Need Support on Weekends Too.

Work schedules, appointments, errands, events, and family responsibilities don't always happen Monday through Friday.

QRT Saturday Care provides families with an additional childcare option in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.

Children can enjoy a more relaxed weekend experience that may include:

• Creative activities
• Games and recreation
• Physical activity
• Enrichment experiences
• Social opportunities
• Age-appropriate learning activities
• Movies or special activities
• Indoor and outdoor play

Saturday Care is offered based on enrollment, staffing, advance registration, and availability.

Royal Rental Space

Queen’s Royal Treasures isn't only a place where children grow.

Our facility can also serve as a welcoming space for families, organizations, ministries, educators, entrepreneurs, and members of our community.

Our flexible rental space may be available during designated hours for:

• Birthday celebrations
• Baby showers
• Meetings
• Workshops
• Trainings
• Classes
• Tutoring sessions
• Small group gatherings
• Ministry activities
• Community events
• Family celebrations

Rental availability, capacity, pricing, setup requirements, and facility guidelines vary based on the type of event.

QRT Community Care

At Queen’s Royal Treasures, caring for children also means supporting the families and community surrounding them.

Through QRT Community Care, we create opportunities to share resources, reduce waste, help families stretch their budgets, and teach our Treasures the importance of generosity, service, responsibility, and caring for others.

🌱 Our Community Garden

Our QRT Community Garden gives children opportunities to experience learning from the ground up.

Children can participate in age-appropriate gardening experiences as they learn about plants, food, nature, responsibility, healthy eating, patience, teamwork, and caring for God's creation.

As our garden grows, its harvest provides another opportunity to share with and support our QRT families.

The garden isn't simply about growing food.

We're growing knowledge, responsibility, healthy habits, and community.

👕 The Royal Exchange

Give What You Can. Take What You Need.

Our Royal Exchange is a family resource-sharing program designed to give gently used items another purpose while helping families access things they may need.

Families may donate clean, gently used items such as:

• Children's clothing
• Shoes
• Coats and seasonal items
• Toys
• Books
• Baby and children's items
• Household necessities
• Other approved family resources

For Our Enrolled QRT Families

Items available through the Royal Exchange are shared among our enrolled childcare families at no cost.

Families are encouraged to give when they can and take what they need.

No family should ever feel embarrassed about using the Exchange. That's exactly why it's here.

For Our Greater Community

When available, individuals and families who are not currently enrolled at QRT may also shop selected Royal Exchange items at affordable, Goodwill-style prices.

Proceeds from community purchases are reinvested into QRT to help purchase supplies and resources that support our children and programs.

Toys for Tots

Making the Holidays a Little Brighter

The spirit of giving is an important part of the QRT community.

Queen’s Royal Treasures proudly participates in the Marine Toys for Tots Program each year, helping connect children and families with the joy and support of the holiday season.

Through our annual participation and other seasonal giving efforts, we encourage our QRT families and Treasures to experience the importance of generosity, compassion, gratitude, and serving others.

Information regarding annual Toys for Tots participation, eligibility, registration, collection efforts, and distribution will be shared with families during the holiday season.
